A lifelong resident of Pine Bluff, Waymond is a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and continued his education by earning his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock – School of Law.
He has served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Arkansas Employment Security Department, Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, and Tax Accountant for Phillips Petroleum Company.
Waymond Brown is formerly District Judge of Pine Bluff, Arkansas from January 1, 2001 until December 31, 2008.
Judge Brown was elected to the Arkansas Court of Appeals in 2008.
Waymond is married to his 8th grade sweetheart Tara, they have 3 children and two grandchildren.
