Fall 2015 Appeals on Wheels


The Arkansas Supreme Court addresses over 1,000 students at Searcy High School  prior to oral argument on October 29, 2015.

On October 29, 2015, the Arkansas Supreme Court traveled to Searcy, Arkansas for its fall 2015 Appeals on Wheels event. The Court held oral argument in the case of William Dewey Gill v. State of Arkansas, CR-15-266, in the auditorium at Searcy High School. Over 1,000 total students from Searcy High School and Harding Academy were in attendance—the largest group to observe an oral argument in the history of the Arkansas Supreme Court. After the event, the justices met with students before going into conference to discuss their cases.
