It is important for all bar exam applicants to keep their contact information up to date with the Arkansas State Board of Law Examiners, as most communication regarding the bar exam is sent via email.
Score Release Timeline
Exam scores will be released within 45 days of the exam. Rule II requires the Board to certify grades to the Supreme Court Clerk within this timeframe.
Receiving Your Score Breakdown
After the exam, the Board emails each applicant an individualized report showing:
- MBE scaled score and national percent below information
- MEE and MPT performance breakdown
MPRE After Passing the Bar Exam
Applicants who pass the UBE but have not yet earned an MPRE score of 85 have one year from the exam administration date to do so. Official scores must be sent by NCBE to Arkansas.

Access to MEE/MPT Questions and Analyses
NCBE allows distribution of MEE questions/analyses and MPT items/point sheets only to failing applicants. The Board emails them to failing applicants once received from NCBE.
Access to Your Answers
Regulation 1 prohibits applicants from accessing copies of their answers.

Retaking the Exam
There is no limit to the number of times an applicant may take the Arkansas Bar Examination. An application must be submitted for each exam.
After You Pass
Applicants who pass will receive email notification. If all admission requirements are met, their name is certified to the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office. Applicants missing requirements or who are denied due to character and fitness concerns will receive notice
